In Japan there are over 160,000 amateur Taiko groups.

The Japanese word Taiko means not only the musical instrument, the drum, but also the musical genre that can be also form of entertainment.

Taiko drums played by Italian group KyoShinDo are entirely made by Maestro Luciano Parisi, thanks to valuable advises of the Taiko craftsman Master Hatamoto Tooru from Tokyo.
